Allen Edmonds Long Branch Wingtip Boots 6043 Golden Brown Chromexcel Leather Review

The only thing great about winter is the winter clothes and boots you get to wear. Here in Michigan we get our fair share of snow. Allen Edmonds is offering up a new boot based on the popular Dalton boot. The Long Branch offers up a Vibram rubber outsole that is perfect for the snowing midwest winter. While the Dalton is a bit of a dress boot, the Long Branch is a hardier boot made to withstand the elements.

The Allen Edmonds Long Branch Boots feature wingtip blucher with brogue perforations and medallion, premium leather upper with leather lining and Vibram rubber outsole. The Long Branch offers a casual look with it’s red laces and rubber outsole. The Long Branch has a 360 degree Goodyear welted construction that is recraftable and will lasts for years of great wear. The Long Branch shares the round toe of the 511 last and similar brogueing and wing tip blucher styling of the Dalton.

Allen Edmonds is the last of the big shoe companies that still make their shoes and boots in the USA. I believe this shows in the quality of footwear from the company. I have owned shoes and boots from other companies that fall apart and feel like plastic. Allen Edmonds has maintained it’s quality over the years and has superb customer service.

The Long Branch is the must have boot for this winter season. The quality leather, classic style and rugged features make it perfect for every occasion. I owned several Allen Edmonds shoes and boots and I have yet to find an AE shoe/boot that I didn’t love. The boots are well made, affordable, quality leather and finally most comfortable boot you will ever wear.
