CRKT Foresight – Designed by Ken Onion Review

I like CRKT Ken Onion Ripple but was looking for something more substantial and found it in the CRKT Foresight. The Ken Onion designed Foresight is a much bigger large size knife. The CRKT Foresight won 2012 Blade Show Imported Knife of the Year Award and the first time I saw it in person I know why. The CRKT Foresight is simply one of the best looking folding knife I have ever seen.

The CRKT Foresight has a 3.5″ blade and weighs in at 6.3 ounces. If a knife can have abs then the Foresight is ripped with the sculpted cold-forged aluminum handle with grooves that fit your fingers perfectly.

The CRKT Foresight uses the same flipper and IKBS ball bearing pivot system that provides one of the best smooth action opening and closing of any knife. The knife uses precision ground of AUS 8 stainless steel and coated with Black Ti Nitride finish.

The CRKT Foresight is my favorite knife of the entire line of 2013 CRKT product line. The first time you see the knife in person you will know why the Foresight won 2012 Blade Show Imported Knife of the Year. I am very rarely impressed by a new knife but the Foresight is one that is unique in style and presence.
