CRKT Premonition Review

Reviewed by K.C. Kim

Since my first CRKT McGinnis knife I have been a fan. The latest knife from knife designer Gerry McGinnis is the long awaited CRKT Premonition. This is a nice every day carry that fits nicely in a pocket or clip to a belt.

The CRKT Premonition is the perfect EDC knife. The Premonition that I am reviewing here has black oxide coating with Veff™ Serrated edge. The entire knife is lightweight and has been skeletonized with nine lightening holes.

The McGinnis Premonition uses one handed flipper design. The knife does not need either thumb studs or nail nicks for opening which makes the design much more clean. The handle is curved to fit perfectly with your hand. It has a cool layered blue/black G10 design which looks great in person. The 3.25″ drop point blade is premium 8Cr14MoV stainless steel with a high hollow grind

The CRKT Premonition lives up to the high standards I expect from a CRKT knife. The knife is a perfect every day knife which is lightweight, stylish and functional. If I had just one knife to carry with me it would be the CRKT Premonition.
