Techné GosHawk Review

I always on the lookout for quality timepieces to add to my expanding watch collection. The Techne GosHawk is one watch that I had my eye on for a while. The Techne GosHawk offers a aviator style paired with the Miyota Automatic movement.

The GosHawk features a Aviator style with Bead Blasted Stainless Steel case. The dial is black with a 41.4mm face. I found that the watch wore perfectly on me as it was not too small or not too big. I am not a big fan of the recent oversize watch craze. The Sapphire with AR coating protects the glass from scratching. It is 12.5mm thick and features C3 Lume. The watch came with a dark brown aged cowhide strap which is stylish and a stainless steel deployment buckle.

The Techne GosHawk features the Japanese Miyota 8217 movment which is a workhorse. I have compared it to my previous Le Locle with ETA movement and the Miyota performs like a champ. And when calibrated the Goshawk can keep time within C.O.S.C. margins.

I love having the Techne GosHawk in my watch collection as it has an original design, reliable, affordable, and you won’t have everyone wearing the same watch. The GosHawk comes in many configuarations so you can buy it with your favorite strap. At under $400 the GosHawk is the perfect next watch to add to your current collection.
